400g tin chickpeas
3 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp flaxseed oil
2 garlic cloves crushed and smooth
juice of half a lemon
ground black pepper
pinch of cumin
pinch of cayenne pepper
Serves 12, suitable from 6 months on;
Blend the chickpeas in a food processor until smooth, mix in the tahini, flaxseed oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, cayenne pepper.
Adjust seasoning by adding freshly ground black pepper.
Add a little water if needed. Serve at room temperature.
